The background of Ianua's kinetic art objects is my visual exploration of the philosophical principle of yin-yang. I was thinking about the interaction of opposites: order and chaos, darkness and light, concealment and manifestation.
In 2002, while working on my diploma thesis, I drew a blueprint, calculating it so that when turning one image would be replaced by another, creating a visual game. There seems to be a dialogue between the elements of the images, which is revealed through movement.
There are several different series of Ianua: pictures, postcards and jewelry made in different genres: conceptualism, abstractionism and figurative art. Below you will see some of them.

This is kinetic ring. The element inside the ring moves. When two different lines / two characters / interact with each other, it forms a kind of sounding.

A ring in which horizontals and verticals become relative concepts. The element inside the ring moves when you move your hand. Thanks to this, you can see the interaction between the vertical and horizontal image.

A small mirror moves inside the ring. As it moves, it appears under different types of patterns. These are art filters that transform the reflection in the mirror.

| Digital Entropy
Inside this ring is a movable element that you can move to highlight one of three graphic images. They symbolically reflect the process of transforming information from a single whole to complete digitization. Switching between different ways of perceiving the world is a kind of metaphor for how we can exist simultaneously in analog and digital dimensions, choosing the degree of “digital presence” in our lives.

This is kinetic ring. The element inside the ring moves. The triangle is like a drop that is first inside the vessel and then ends up on the outside. This ring is about how we share our inner state with the world, and in response, the world shares with us.
